I still can't believe I walked off without those poppers after I started, but oh well.

I was safe and the gun ran real well, I'm happy! :D

A good time, for me at least those cans up close, WOW!, not used to shooting that close, something to work on over the winter.

Thank You Todd for taping that!

looks like a lot of small targets at distance.

How hard were the flying paintcans to hit?

Don't worry Bob, I hit the cans and the small targets in my OB Irons but left the bag sitting on the table to add 50 seconds to the run. Wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't left the bag in the OB optics run earlier as well. Of course Bruce and Joel were laughing at me for doing the 2nd time then Bruce left stage 1 without shooting the guys at the table. I also watched Richard Lage run right past the entire white array on a smoking run. Seemed like there were lots of mistakes made this past weekend but everybody seemed to have fun.

Still a good match for the fun of shooting it. Sure did need to lay out the rounds on this year's course.

Good to see people.

Great vids

Todd did you come over to the dark side? Was that an MP5 I saw in your hands?

At the second position, were those targets farther away or smaller than they appear ? Every one seemed to have trouble with them and that damn swinger at P3 was a nightmare.

Looked like everyone had fun.

Stage 2 had targets at 35-40 yards. The no-shoot swingers stopped pretty fast so you had to clear what was behind it first. At least that was the plan. By stage 4, most people were too frustrated to care anymore

I'm going to do a write-up on the match and try to figure out some statistics on the event in terms of how many people had AD's , DNF, and huge failures like walking past entire arrays. Those small targets on string 2 were about 35+ yrds or so and the cans were not hard to hit but you couldn't hesitate. Quite a few people got all three.

And yes that's an MP5 I shoot one every year at the creek (not very well I hate their triggers). Joel was kind enough to loan me his and I went to town on it. Poor showing with it but it was fun.

You're tao with with the MP5 is just not evolved, you must become one with the gun.

Course I'm one to talk

It would be interesting to learn the psychology behind that though, I mean people like me forgot targets, others other targets, the saddle bags, could be scary to know though.

My gun ran, that's what matters to me, besides being safe.

Absolutely! I was one of the fortunate ones who had easily cleared malfunctions. I had 3 or 4 rounds that just didn't fire the first time chambered. They all went down range the second time around.

I was really amazed at how many people had malfunctions on Friday. Gremlins, I say.
