Does anyone have the date for this match? I had an email from Joel from a while ago that had it and I just can't find it.
Thanks,

Fellow Hosers;
Heading up to Michigan to shoot in this match, just curious about an approximate round count?.
I'm running both Optic and Iron, heading to the range today to scrape off most of the rust, well, part of it.
See you in a couple of weeks!

Gonna miss this one again. Shoot safe, everyone and see most of you in October.
Re: MI state match 2014
Yeah - I was planning on bringing around 300 per class. Should be plenty. Should be enough to get through the match and leave enough in case any re-shoots are necessary.todd wrote:I'm taking 250 per class and I expect to have a lot left overBest bunch of guys to shoot with . Re: MI state match 2014
Looking forward to this as usual. I might get a F/A system to go off by Todd's hotel the night before to get him off his game LOL. (Little inside joke from FB)
I took a whole ammo can last few years but that is for the wife and I both for a total of 4 runs.
Great match and really good time. Plus the 30rd limit just makes everything straight up and easy to score. The competition is normally very very tight and one missed shot or target normally comes back to haunt you.
Regards,

Re: MI state match 2014
I'm driving up the morning of the match there smarty pants a I always do. No hotel.. just sleepless night before hand
My full size has been acting up so I may have to bring the Mini this year. Had a series of those odd issues I had two years ago with rounds not ejecting and getting caught behind the ejector and in front of the bolt.
Richard from BWE firearms is going to take a look at it and I hope he can straighten things out. I don't know where I'd be in this world if it wasn't not for the support of my amazing friends.
If I have to shoot left handed inverted prone running a factory mini SMG I will be there

Re: MI state match 2014
This was one of the better ran matches I have ever attended.
Despite miserable MP5 "performance" and I use that term EXCEPTIONALLY loosely, I had a good time, very well ran match. I was surprised that more did not attend, it's had such great AAR's on here, and the in-person recommendations cannot be more positive.
I know first hand from being involved with matches at Red Brush, the first three ISSMC shoots, and the late Wisconsin matches just how much time energy, and effort goes into a three stage match, these guys do six stages, really a remarkable effort and my hat is off to them all, truly an excellent job.
Many, Many thanks to Cain for allowing me use of his Uzi. Words alone cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for him allowing me to use his firearm.
I sincerely appreciate it, Thank You!

Re: MI state match 2014
Glad you had a good time. The MI folks are awesome.
I haven't been able to attend the last 3 because the match is always held on my son's birthday and we usually have something going on. He's 19 now so hope full we're done with it
