We'll be there

Sarah and I will be there, fortunately she does not have to have surgery now, so she'll be the social butterfly. She should be back in form by Fall KCR, hope to get some practice in at Red Brush over the summer.

Sounds like a good time, bring lots of ammo, you can't have too much

I'll be bringing the slow-fire M11 for Open, and the Uzi in Modern. I'd hoped to shoot the Reising in Classic, but as noted I won't be able to be there on Saturday so I'm limited to two runs.

The Uzi has been good so far - for the little that I've had a chance to use it. This will be the first match that I will have had the chance to shoot it in. I thought I was going to make it to the Creek this spring, but it didn't happen.

I have a topcover with a rail, and I was toying with the idea of mounting a red-dot and shooting it in Open, but the M11 is hard to beat. That, and until now the only gun I had for Modern was the MAC10. It does okay, but has its limitations. I'm hoping to do a bit better with the Uzi.

I'll be interested to see how you like the uzi compared to the slow fire m11 in competition. The Uzi seems like a much better choice than a stock M10 for modern class given the amount of rounds you are sending down range and the fewer mag changes and weight as a result of using it.

I hope the weather is with us next weekend but even if it isn't im prepared to shoot in a downpour =)

A very good time,

Weather could not have been better, courses of fire were safe, well designed and fun to shoot, put 270 rounds down range on the first stage, excellent!

Was good to see Todd, sorry I missed you before we left, definately had my eyes opened to some new courses of fire to try.

Dave, Cain, Tim and company, don't know if you look at this board, but as I said on subguns, all the hard work and effort shows, Congratulations on a job well done.

ISSMC was an awesome experience. I had a great time and look forward to next year. There HAS to be something in the water up there... NOBODY is that friendly...

Bob I wish we had more time to hang out somehow I lost you and never found you again. We stayed until the trophies were given out and then hit the road.

Garrett... you are a bad ass.. thank you for the Uzi magazine loan I owe ya one... It was awesome to meet you finally and put the face and grin to the name. I look forward to shooting with you in the future.

Paul Winters... Congratulations on the win with the Thompson! You need to get an Uzi and drop that M16 for open heheh  Thank you again for the use of the cooler...

I'll get the videos up online when I get back to FL... has anyone seen the results published yet? I am anxious to see how I would have done in open had I not racked up 30 second of mag penalties.

We're glad you all had a good time. We have some ideas for the 7th ISSMC brewing allready. It's hard to believe that the first match had 38 shooters and we ran everything in one day.

It's always good for me to see so much improvement in the shooters that come back every year and the competition just seems to get closer all the time.

Todd, I found out what happened to the Tommy. When I got home, the rear site was quite loose and the top of the bolt had rivet scuff marks from the top site plate rivets. Needless to say the old girl got a great bath and a complete rerivet last night before going back in the safe. At least that is what I think caused the malfunction.

If you're still interested in that subsonic load, I will get you the information in the next few days, then you and Andy can try it out for yourselves.

It was amazing to me how many ammunition related malfunctions we had this year and all of them were with factory ammunition. Guess it just goes to show that quality control isn't what it used to be.

Yo Cain! Welcome to bullet hose, I'm glad you made it. It's nice to know you figured out what stopped your Thompson. You had a good run going right until it stopped going bang :(

I hope we get a chance to toss around ideas for ISSMC 2007 because Andy and I kept discussing how beautiful that space is you all have there and what awesome possibilities the layout there offers for stage design.

I'd love to get the info on your reloads for sure and I am positive you'd find happiness in amphibians subsonic 9mm load which to date is the cats ass and the hardest hitting and quietest load I have come across . If you want you can post your load info into the competitors corner.

I hope for next year you guys do more of the same full auto stuff but mix it up a bit with some breaks in between. Dave's stage was a bit much and it would have thrown some of our female shooters which were going to come but were not able to for a loop.

I am anxious to get back to IN in 2008 and if all works out I might bring my better half with me to compete and some friends and family from MI to spectate.
