Freefall (final episode 2 hours)This one episode seems to have more awesome gun play than the rest of the shows combined. The dynamic duo have to protect a Latin American dictator from hit squad and everything under the sun.
SCENE 11hr into the episode Stan has shotgun vs 3 thugs with smg's He's behind the open door of his van.
Scene 21h11m into episode: Tubbs is taken hostage in a trailer by the river. Bad guys try to swap Tubbs for General Barbone. Crockett is outside building with scoped rifle and kills tubbs hostage taker at door of trailer at the beginning of the proposed trade. HUGE firefight ensues with Miami's finest blazing away at a half dozen bad guys inside the trailer.
Crockett advances toward trailer under heavy fire and magically is protected by the wooden lobster pots everywhere and grabs Tubbs and drags him to safety. The bad guys in the building are shot and the building collapses.
SCENE 3Barbone is trying to escape via a seaplane. Crockett and Tubbs show up in the white fererri and have a shoot out with Barbone's men. Initially C&T take cover behind a vehicle then decide to SPRINT toward the bad guys with guns in each hand neutralizing 8+ guys while running after the plane and barbone (which is in the water and taking off)
They manage to blow up the plane while in flight with a mp5 and Beretta 92.
The Maze: Episode 17 -
Quote:
Gangsters take over a high-rise for drug dealing.. tons of mac's , MP5's and shotguns
Tubbs carries guitar case to "the maze" building with firearm inside to infiltrate gang members "the Escobars" den who shot police officer. The building is dilapidated and filled with both gang members as well as innocent people living in building. Gang members open fire from top floor window on police as they begin to move in.
The gang members hold the innocent families hostage in a room with guns to their heads and the uniform police withdraw.. Tubbs under cover moves in and becomes a hostage with a concealed pistol.
Writing on the walls "666 is coming" and other graffiti ...
Tubbs gets tied up by the gang and ends up shooting a bad guy from a laying position on his side from a 38 on his ankle. . Bad guys make for the roof with hostages Crockett blasts a guy through the top floor window.
There is a ton of action in this scenario with a shoot out being the obvious choice. A good mix of shoots, no shoots all with shirts/ hats on with the gang members having various weapons. This stage would be outstanding if a way can be devised to do a group of targets that move horizontally (slider or otherwise) that has a mix of hostages and bad guys... mixed with other no shoots/hostage targets standing static across the path of travel it would make things challenging.
Night club scene- quite a few to choose from.. shoot out in the club... lots of no shoots couple of shoots.. maybe something that shoots back
7-6-2010I'm about 15 episodes in so far and this isn't going to be as easy as I thought. A heck of a lot of episodes don't have the high action shoot outs you'd expect. Tons of hookers and drugs though... gun play is sure to follow right? :p
7-15-2010On the suggestion of Amphibian I watched the episode "El Viejo" (season 3 disc 2) that stars Kenny Rogers as a Texas Ranger out for revenge. The final scene a the end is pretty awesome and set in a grave yard. Kenny rogers and Crockett battle it out with drug dealers while hiding behind tombstones.

posted over on miami-vice.org and got some good feedback on episodes to watch.
Knock Knock Who's there Season 5 episode 21
Briefcase + 2 kilos of cocaine in bar setting. Rogue DEA agents rip off the drugs...
Final shoot out in the episode has a Crockett and Tubbs meeting the bad guys at calle Ocho. A zillion civilians are dancing their asses off and the bad guy Montoya shows up with his henchmen... shoot out happens and C&T shoot a couple of the bodyguards/henchmen. Montoya grabs a hostage and retreats with crockett in hot pursuit.
A shootout takes place in a hallway corridor... in the episode the bad guy is taken into custody.. for the match it might be nicer to have montoya run off with the briefcase of buy money and a hostage and then have the stage end with a subgun precision hostage shot at 20+yrds or a pistol shot @ 10yrds.
